Importance of instruments:
instruments play a key role in modern type of land surveys or more preferably engneering survey. Machines in todays world had made our work alot easier than before. In early times we used very errarious methods for surveys due to which our results were affected and we could not get what we wanted.
For example in early times plan distance was measured by counting our steps and you can well imagine how errarious measurement could be made as compared to modern ways of measuring techniques with modern instruments
Importance of instruments in survey can well be imagined from the fact the world is getting closer day by day with emerging technologies which had made our lives completely dependent on machines and made our daily works easy and production of these machines could only be possible with surveys designed for it and these accurate measurements were only possible because of instruments.
